What We Love: This classic, historic hotel is iconic on St. Petersburg Beach and continues to re-invent itself in delightful ways. The “pink palace” has recently undergone a refresh of the rooms and continues to bring innovative coastal cuisine to both the restaurant and banqueting experiences.
What We Love: Dorado Beach Resort redefines what true luxury really means. On the original “footprint” of the renowned Dorado Beach Resort of old, this new Ritz Carlton Reserve property was rebuilt from the ground up, to the highest standards. Steps away from the heart of downtown, we know this gorgeous hotel will be one of our faves!
What We Love: We love St. Martin as a destination – this island has it all! Spectacular beaches, charming marina village, shopping for high end European designer goods or local crafts wonderful restaurants right at the water’s edge. And for decades, La Samanna, a Belmond Hotel, St. Martin has been the chicest of the resort options in the French West Indies. Belmond took the closure in 2017/18 following the destruction of Hurricane Irma to refresh, re-think and renew this Caribbean jewel to it’s original level of sophistication and élan. Management and staff at both Belmond hotels in the Caribbean really have it together!
What We Love: The island of Anguilla has some of the loveliest beaches on the planet and when many of the iconic hotels here closed after the hurricane of 2017, some of our favorite hotel operators swept in and “re-imagined” them for a new era. We can’t wait to see what Auberge Hotels did with this one!
What We Love: Dreamy “southern living” fantasy experience, mossy live oaks, surrounded by rivers and inlets, dolphins are at play and so are you! World class golf, unique encounters with nature on land and in the waters, activities too numerous to mention. What We Love: “Little sister” to the renowned Auberge Du Soleil is all grown up! This vibe-y resort is in the heart of Napa Valley and just feels like the place to be. Wonderful dining is to be expected in this destination and their restaurant is praise worthy. Go for the spa experience – it is one of a kind!
What We Love: Located in the heart of Aspen, this hotel anchors the town with Western chic and is lively and lovely in both summer and winter. They have the largest spa in Aspen, and you never know who you might find yourself “chilling out” next to!

What We Love: Located in the heart of the “business of music ” district of Nashville, one can readily imagine the record deals being inked right across the street! This is a hotel where you feel that everyone in the place is one lucky break away from fame and fortune! Sir Richard Branson has “re-imagined” what a hotel stay can be, with lots of communal space for locals to gather, both in the public areas at ground level, and around the rooftop pool. The meeting rooms are private, lovely and provide “state of the art” technology. We particularly loved the red refrigerators featured in every guest room!
What We Love: This famous conference-worthy resort on the Wailea side of Maui is also well known for having Hawaii’s largest collection of art, particularly Fernando Botero’s sculptures of voluptuous women. Brilliant sunsets over umbrella drinks and dinner at Humuhumu, their Polynesian restaurant, are sweet moments to savor!
What We Love: Bridging the Gulf of Mexico with a series of inland dune lakes, this resort combines some of America’s finest beaches with a shady, lake-side experience in a 5 minute walk. The David Rockwell architecture charms us and they offer activities, shopping and dining galore, in an easy walk or bike ride up and down “Scenic 30-A.”
What We Love: One of the most visionary hoteliers in the world had big dreams for this pair of Las Vegas properties, and they delight and surprise every place you look. The art! The fabulous restaurant selection! The huge suites! These “twins” changed the conversation about Las Vegas.
What We Love: We can’t wait to experience this exciting all-inclusive resort concept! Set in an ecological and historical park and right at the edge of the Caribbean Sea, the abundance of activities included in your rate are mind-boggling! We also love the concept of the Xcaret Hotel de Arte, which incorporates Mexican and Mayan arts and crafts in their decor and event enhancements. This one is a classic-in-the-making!
